Bites: Nihonshu Nexus

With cups, serving bottles, furoshiki wrappings and 450 variants of nihonshu, Gourmarche Sake on Matsuya Ginza’s revamped basement floor has become a one-stop shop for Japanese drinking culture.

The Kikizake bar even offers a chance to get a taste on-site, with the ¥1,080 set menu including one drink from the week’s selected brewery and three tsumami (snack) dishes specially chosen to suit the sake.
