U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Matthew Glavy, commanding general of 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), participates in an Aquatics Maximum Power Intense Training (AMPIT) session alongside U.S. Marines with Marine Aircraft Group 12 at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Jan. 11, 2018. AMPIT is a unit-driven aquatic physical fitness training program that increases amphibious readiness, promotes Marine total fitness, and enhances unit cohesion and mission readiness.
