Yokota Officers' Spouses' Club to host bazaar March 19-20
Looking for that special something to decorate your home or unique items to freshen things up for spring? You’ll find what you’re looking for at Yokota’s Asian Bazaar!
Hosted by the Yokota Officers’ Spouses’ Club (YOSC), the bazaar will be held March 19-20. There will be an expanded venue with vendors in Hangar 15 as well as in Building 907 (ERRC). Come and shop from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 19, and from 10 a.m to 4 p.m on Sunday March 20.
The bazaar, open to all SOFA-sponsored personnel and their families, provides an opportunity to shop at a variety of vendors. The bazaar will feature Japanese and Korean antiques, Asian furniture, handmade Turkish and Persian carpets, home dècor, jewelry, Kokeshi dolls, kimonos, obis, yukata and jinbei, local and regional handmade crafts and much more. With over 50 booths to explore, don’t miss out on this chance to speak with the vendors and artists.
Check our Facebook page (Yokota Officers’ Spouses’ Club Asian Bazaar) for opportunities to volunteer to help at the bazaar and be included in door prize drawings.
One hundred percent of the proceeds from the bazaar go back to Yokota through base organizations and our Air Force community. Last year, almost $19,000 in scholarships were given to Yokota's high school seniors and spouses pursuing higher education.
The YOSC is comprised of both military officer and civilian equivalent spouses. The purpose of the YOSC is to promote a spirit of unity through the provision of social, cultural and welfare activities among its members.
So come out and enjoy the fun – and purchase some great stuff – at our Spring Asian Bazaar!
