Yokota Exchange brings families together with Hasbro Game Night on Dec. 1
Yokota Air Base – The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is partnering with Hasbro to host a game night for military children and their families at Yokota Exchange on Dec. 1 ( moved from 24 November).
The event, which is ideal for children age 4 and older, will offer three games for the families to enjoy: Don’t Step In It; Pie Face Cannon; and Connect 4 Shot. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Main Exchange.
“This time of year can be stressful for military families, especially if they are stationed far from loved ones,” said Exchange General Manager Shinobu Matsui. “The Yokota Exchange is excited to provide this opportunity for Warfighters and their families to spend time together during the busy holiday season.”
Parents may bring cameras to photograph the fun. Select toys will be discounted the day of the event.
Yokota Exchange closed as focus is on Family this Thanksgiving
Yokota Air Base – The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is a true example of family serving family as 85 percent of its work force is connected to the military. On Thanksgiving, the Exchange’s focus will be on family.
While all main stores will be closed Thanksgiving Day, the Yokota Exchange doors will open at 7 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving.
“As part of the military community, we understand how precious time together can be,” says General Manager Shinobu Matsui. “Shoppers can spend time with their loved ones on Thursday and then start shopping early, at their Exchange, on Friday.”
Service members who are on the installation on Thanksgiving Day will still have access to convenience items as the Fussa Express and East Samurai Express will be open beginning at 9 a.m. (Fussa) and 8 a.m. (East).
