SASEBO, Japan (Dec. 21, 2017) - Aviation Machinist's Mate 2nd Class Nid Nauk, from Fresno, Calif., assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6), plays Santa during a community service project at Emukae Kindergarten. Bonhomme Richard, forward-deployed to Sasebo, Japan, is serving forward to provide a rapid-response capability in the event of a regional contingency or natural disaster.
