U.S. Forces Japan will return two communications sites to the Japanese government, according to U.S. officials.

Naval Air Facility Atsugi spokesman Greg Kuntz said Wednesday that the Fukaya and Kamiseya communications sites will be handed back to the Japanese.

The sites have been closed for many years and only used for storage and training, Kuntz said.
