U.S. Forces Japan Commander visits Camp Zama

CAMP ZAMA, Japan -- The commander of United States Forces, Japan and 5th Air Force, Lt. Gen. Jerry P. Martinez, made his first official visit here Jan. 6 since assuming his current post. During his visit he met with Maj. Gen. James F. Pasquarette, commander of U.S. Army Japan, and staff. He also visited the Central Readiness Command collocated here, and spent time with Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Lt. Gen. Shigeru Kobayashi, CRF commander, and members of his staff.
