Thank you USO!
NAVSUP FLC Yokosuka Sailors who work at Fleet Mail Center (FMC) Yokohama received a 60-inch Sony Bravia TV with a Sony Blu-ray home theater system for their break room from USO Yokosuka during a gift presentation ceremony held Aug. 12 in Yokohama, Japan.
The mission of the USO is to lift the spirits of troops and their families and that mission is accomplished on a daily basis thanks to the dedication and generosity of the American people. Whether it is a commitment of time from a volunteer or a contribution of dollars from a donor, the USO turns this generosity into centers, programs and services that reach troops in the most remote corners of the globe.
FMC Yokohama is the Navy's largest FMC; the Sailors, Marines and Civilians working at FMC Yokohama provide the best possible postal services in support of the SEVENTH and FIFTH Fleets, 18 Forward Deployed Naval Force Ships, 62 tenant commands, 30,000 military and civilian personnel and over 600 mobile units operating in the Pacific area of responsibility.
