Range day exhibits mission for families

MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- More than 200 Airmen and family members attended the annual Range Day event hosted by the 35th Operations Group at Draughon Range outside Misawa AB, Oct. 30.

 The event allowed families to see the 35th Fighter Wing and Japanese Air Self-Defense Force mission up-close through flight exhibitions and demonstrations. Pilots practiced precision bombing techniques using BDU-33s, which are 25-pound concrete-filled bombs.
