CAMP ZAMA, Japan (Sept. 22, 2014) -- The Boys and Girls Club's "Day for Kids" event was held on Sept. 20 hosted by the Camp Zama Child, Youth and School Services at the Yano Ramble Field on Camp Zama, here.

Several of Camp Zama's community members participated in the event by celebrating and spending quality time with their children.

Robert Chance, supervisory programs specialist for the Camp Zama CYSS, said "It is an event made for kids to cerebrate kids."

The first 100 youth attendees received a "Kids Day" T-shirt and a gift bag.

The event also included food vendors, face paintings, carnival games, a bouncy castle, trampoline jumping and go-carts.

Chance said the goal of the event is to have as many kids have as much fun spending a day of enjoyment with their families.
