YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Pacific Trends, Band of the Pacific-Asia popular music ensemble, played inside the Outrigger Hotel lobby as part of their three-performance tour to Guam on Oct. 14.

Pacific Trends, stationed at Yokota Air Base, Japan, uses its variety show of popular American and Japanese tunes to accomplish its mission of using the universal language of music to spread goodwill throughout western Asia.

Unique to Guam, the audience consisted of a variety of nationalities including American, Japanese, Filipino, Australian, British and others visiting the island.

After the performance, hotel guests came and thanked the band for a performance that "sounded great."
