New housing units on Camp Zama

Command Sgt. Maj. Steven L. Payton, the U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) command sergeant major, Col. Joy L. Curriera and Command Sgt. Maj. Katrina M. Najee, the U.S. Army Garrison Japan commander and command sergeant major, respectively attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for the 24 new family housing units, near 84Housing Area, Camp Zama, on April 16.

The new housing units will house senior enlisted personnel and their families. After a selection of music provided by the U.S. Army Japan Band, Jun Arai, the project engineer for Japan Engineer District, Sgt. Maj. Bradley D. Waters, 836th Transportation Battalion, Payton, Curriera and Najee cut the ribbon to official open the housing area.
