NAVAL AIR FACILITY ATSUGI, Japan (Oct. 8, 2015) Director of the Defense Policy Review Initiative for Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Iwakuni Brian Wottowa discusses the relocation of Carrier Air Wing (CVW) Five from Naval Air Facility (NAF) Atsugi to MCAS Iwakuni during an all-hands call with Sailors participating in the move. The relocation is part of an ongoing effort by the U.S. Department of Defense and the Government of Japan to balance requirements for national defense by redistributing certain military assets across Japan.
