YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Japanese Air Self-Defense Force students from the Basic Maintenance Officer Course visited Yokota Air Base, July 29, 2014. The students are JASDF maintenance officers who came to Yokota from Hamamatsu Air Base to learn about the similarities and differences between U.S. and Japanese aircraft maintenance operations. The JASDF students graduate their course next week and the experience gained during their Yokota tour will play a role in how they decide to manage their Japanese maintenance sections upon leaving training.
