The Camp Zama Girls Scouts Proclamation presentation was held March 11 at the pavilion near the Camp Zama Activity Center with special guests Barbara Hill, CEO of the United States Army Girl Scouts Overseas-West Pacific; U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward) Commander Maj. Gen. James C. Boozer Sr.; Mrs. Boozer, and the U.S. Army Garrison Japan command group.

After the opening flag ceremony and welcoming comments from Hill, Command Sgt. Maj. Katrina Najee, USAG-J command sergeant major, read the proclamation aloud.
The presentation concluded with a flag ceremony and the Camp Zama Girl Scouts pledging their promise.
The Girl Scout Promise:
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country
To help people at all times
And to live by the Girl Scout Law
