Congratulations to LSCS Calendula Sanders for being awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal and to YN2 Michael George, YN2 Alexander Lane and LS2 Raphael Robinson for being awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

Also, Bravo Zulu to LS1 Elijah Burgos, LS3 Denzel Berotte and YNSA Brooke Sparks on their Letters of Appreciation for Sailor of the Quarter, Junior Sailor of the Quarter and Blue Jacket of the Quarter.

Additionally, we recognize Ms. Yuko Takano on her Letter of Appreciation from CFAY for her outstanding performance as a volunteer interpreter at a CFAY historical tour for local nationals.

LS2 John Umpacan and CM2 Marlon Patriz received command coins in recognition of their associate degrees. All were recognized by the CO, CAPT Bichard, during an Awards Ceremony held July 11 at the command headquarters.

Lastly, LS1 Brian Weil and LS2 Mark Delahoz, NAVSUP FLCY Logistics Support Representatives, along with two 2nd Class Petty Officers from DLA, received command coins from CAPT Bichard in recognition of outstanding performance in supporting USS SHILOH as they worked as a team to expedite shipment of 20 cans of HAZMAT to the deployed ship.
