Bilateral Co-op Class 73 members welcomed

CAMP ZAMA, Japan -- Eight new students of the bilateral Cooperative Work Program Class 73 were welcomed here during a reception hosted by Maj. Gen. James Boozer Sr., commanding general of U.S. Army Japan and I Corps (Forward). Also attending the reception was Japan Ground Self-Defense Force's deputy commander (international) of the Central Readiness Force, Maj. Gen. Tomofusa Harada, whose headquarters is collocated here. The 10 week bilateral program is sponsored by U.S. Army Japan and Ground Staff Office. The students will be going through an intense immersion program while they work side-by-side with their Army and Air Force counterparts at Camp Zama. The class is scheduled from July 2 to Sept. 12.
