MISAWA AIR BASE, Japan -- Approximately 200 Airmen from Misawa Air Base deployed Dec. 4, 2014, in support of Beverly Sunrise 15-1, an exercise held across multiple bases in Pacific Air Forces. Their first stop was the Personnel Deployment Function line before loading and boarding a C-130 Hercules. This was Misawa's first exercise to be conducted under the Commander's Inspection Program, which allows commanders to shape their exercises to ultimately help units execute their mission more effectively.
